Three Dead In Love Triangle Shooting
SKOKIE, Ill. (AP) _ A man shot and killed his estranged wife and her boyfriend outside the restaurant where she worked, then shot himself.
Police said they found notes that the gunman, Vincent Languido, had written but never delivered to his wife saying he was depressed over their breakup.
Languido, 28, shot Serena Languido, 21, in the parking lot of the family- style restaurant as she reported for work Sunday afternoon, police said.
He also shot Christopher Latimer, 25, then shot himself in the head. Latimer, who police said was living with Mrs. Languido, died early this morning.
Alan Gerstner said he was mowing a lawn across the street when he heard gunshots.
″When I got here, there was a woman lying on the ground screaming, and he was over her holding a gun,″ Gerstner said. ″He was yelling at her, and she was wailing and screaming and kicking.″
Gerstner ran to call the police when he heard more shots.
″That was when the screaming stopped,″ Gerstner said.
