Int’l. Herald Trib. Names Exec.
PARIS (AP) _ The International Herald Tribune on Tuesday named Ann M. Blinkhorn president of the daily newspaper’s North American operations.
Richard McClean, the publisher and chief executive of the newspaper, said Blinkhorn will be responsible for the U.S. operations of the IHT based in New York.
Blinkhorn, 38, joins the paper after eight years with The New York Times Co., most recently serving as director of development planning. She will manage advertising and circulation sales, as well as marketing activities, for the IHT throughout the United States, Canada, South and Central America and the Caribbean.
The IHT is jointly owned by The New York Times Co. and The Washington Post Co. The paper, headquartered in Paris, has a circulation of more than 207,000 and is distributed in more than 180 countries.
