ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) _ Buffalo Bills quarterback Doug Flutie might miss parts of Sunday's game with the New Orleans Saints because of a leg injury.

Flutie said Wednesday that he injured his left leg below the knee during a scramble at the end of last Saturday's loss to the Jets, and Flutie said he's in pain and couldn't complete practice Wednesday.

Flutie is likely to start in New Orleans, but Bills coach Wade Phillips said backup Rob Johnson will play. Johnson said Phillips told him he was going to play the second half.

Johnson's last action was Oct. 11 at Indianapolis. Johnson left the game after suffering a rib injury on the first series of downs. Flutie replaced him, and eventually won the starting job.

Johnson has completed 55 of 89 passes for 694 yards this season. He's thrown five touchdown passes and three interceptions, and he's been sacked 25 times.
