Yankees’ Jeter Leaves Game

TORONTO (AP) _ New York shortstop Derek Jeter left the Yankees’ game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night with tightness in his left hamstring.

Jeter left after the first inning with Toronto leading 5-0. It was not immediately clear how he injured the hamstring.

Before the game, manager Joe Torre said Jeter would get a day off on Wednesday.
