Cops: Man grabbed worker after refusal to sell alcohol
MILFORD - A 44-year-old Milford man was arrested Sunday after allegedly yelling and grabbing the arm of a store worker who refused to sell him alcohol.
Joseph Pascale, of Bismark Avenue, was charged with second-degree breach of peace following the Sunday night incident.
Just before 10 p.m., police went to Shop Rite on the Boston Post Road after a report of an unwanted person.
The investigation led to the arrest of Pascale who is accused of yelling at and grabbing a staff member by the arm when the worker refused to sell him alcohol because of state liquor law time restrictions.
Unlike other days of the week, liquor sales are allowed until 10 p.m.; on Sunday, the cutoff time is 6 p.m.
