HUNTINGTON — Students at Culloden Elementary School were roused Friday morning by the bright sounds of the Lincoln Brass ensemble when the quintet made its first of three performance stops as part of the Janet E. Bromley Educational Outreach Program.

A portion of the Huntington Symphony Orchestra, the quintet also visited Salt Rock and Fairland West elementary schools Friday. The Bromley program exists to send out small HSO-built ensembles to perform for area students and teach them more about the symphony before many of the HSO concerts.

Members of the Lincoln Brass are Keith Carper, Jeff Flanagan, Jonathan Bradley, Joe Patton and Buddy Madden.
