Patricia Ann Davis, 78, of Provo, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2019, after a short illness. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren, all of whom loved her. Pat was born March 17, 1941, to Jesse (Jeff) Hayward and Barbara Hiatt Bean, in Prineville, Oregon. Pat graduated from Oregon City High School where she excelled in all her academic studies. She loved to sing duets with her younger sister Judy while their mother played piano, singing at multiple church, and county functions in her youth. Later, Pat attended Brigham Young University.

Pat married Philip Reed Davis of Salem, Utah on September 8, 1960, in the Idaho Falls Temple. They were blessed with 12 children and three foster children. Pat loved being a mother and homemaker. She often sang, played piano, cooked, and cleaned as she served those in her family, their friends, and anyone who found their way to her doorstep. She was a gifted poet and published a small book of 48 poems “The Year the Ironing is Done” for her family and close friends. She loved to sew for her children, friends, and received many awards for her entries in the Central Bank and Trust Annual Doll Contests.

Pat was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, devoting her life to the Savior, loving unconditionally, and serving wherever needed. As she neared the end of her life, she found joy in serving the sister missionaries in the Provo, Utah Mission by transporting them to appointments and assignment changes until March of this year.
