Warrants issued for assault in Windber
Three Windber men have been charged in relation to tracking down and beating a man.
Windber Borough police said 30-year-old Patrick James Fisher-McCallops, of 9th Street, 36-year-old Brian James Siska Jr., also of 9th Street, and 23-year-old Vaughn Matthew Siska, of Graham Avenue, were among four individuals who followed a man in three vehicles at approximately 6:30 a.m. Jan. 12. They were eventually able to block the man’s vehicle in a driveway along Hillside Avenue.
According to police, Fisher-McCallops opened the man’s car door and told him he was going to kill him. He then punched him several times.
Police said Brian Siska also told the man he’d kill him. He, too, punched him several times, and bit him in the head at one point.
The beating, police said, stopped after about 10 minutes. The victim drove to his sister’s house and was taken to Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber. His injuries included a broken left eye socket, concussion, cuts to the left eye and scalp, and multiple bruises. At least one of the injuries required stitches.
Both Fisher-McCallops and Brian Siska have been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, giving false reports to law enforcement, disorderly conduct and harassment. Warrants were issued for their arrests.
Vaughn Siska faces charges of recklessly endangering another person, giving false reports to law enforcement, disorderly conduct and harassment. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. Feb. 27 before District Judge Bill Seger in Windber. He has been sent a summons to appear in court.
Police did not indicate, in court documents, what prompted the altercation.
