Steve Miller to become Ludington mayor
Steve Miller was elected Tuesday to become the new mayor of the City of Ludington, receiving 2,411 votes compared to 723 votes for the opposing candidate, William Dustman.
The mayor serves a four-year term, and Miller will take office once the term expires on Dec. 31 for the current mayor, Kaye Ferguson Holman.
Miller said he feels honored that voters chose him for the role and that he is thankful for the support from the community. He said he will do his best to serve the city and its residents.
“I’m grateful for those folks that have supported me,” Miller said. “I look forward to working with citizens and the city council to help continue the forward progress Ludington has enjoyed.”
