WASHINGTON — Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, little known outside his home state, boasts he raised over $1 million in the days after launching his White House bid. Former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and others say they did, too. They argue it shows viability and results from a spontaneous groundswell of support. But does it? By Brian Slodysko. SENT: 900 words. AP Photos.

BEND, Ore. - A Blockbuster Video in Bend, Oregon, is the last one on the planet after the only other Blockbuster, an Australia store, announced it’s closing on March 31. Running the dated franchise has its challenges: The computers must be rebooted using floppy disks, and employees write membership cards by hand because the dot-matrix printer broke. But the store is now booming with business from longtime locals as well as tourists from as far away as Taiwan who snap selfies and buy souvenirs. By Gillian Flaccus. SENT: 990 words. AP Photos.

Amid all the hoopla surrounding Suzuki Ichiro’s return to Japan with the Seattle Mariners, it’s been easy to overlook something: the Oakland Athletics are here, too, including Aussie pitcher Liam Hendriks.

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NCAA Tournament will be all about teams trying to figure out a way to stop No. 1 overall seed Duke and the rest of the top seeds. The answers could come in weaknesses that showed in the few times the best teams lost this season. The Blue Devils are a title favorite with freshman star Zion Williamson, but they haven’t shot the 3-pointer well. Other top seeds like North Carolina and Gonzaga have struggled in slower tempos, while 2-seed Michigan State has had problems with turnovers. By Aaron Beard. SENT: 1,000 words. AP Photos.

NEW YORK - Duke is back on top followed by Virginia and North Carolina to give the Atlantic Coast Conference a 1-2-3 showing in the final AP Top 25 poll this season. The Blue Devils jumped from fifth to first Monday after winning last week’s league tournament with the return of freshman star Zion Williamson from a knee sprain. Gonzaga fell to fourth, while Michigan State climbed to fifth. SENT: 300 words. AP Photos.
