Grand larceny, domestic battery listed among HPD incident reports

HUNTINGTON — The following information was provided by police reports from the Huntington Police Department:

The Huntington Police Department listed nine new incident reports in the 24-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to the printout released by the department. However, the individual police reports were not made available, so these are the only known details:

Possession of a controlled substance, suspended/revoked license — DUI first and second offense, warrant service/execution, 8:48 p.m. Tuesday, 18th Street and McVeigh Avenue.

Possession of contraband, disorderly conduct, 6:03 p.m. Tuesday, 1300 block of Hal Greer Boulevard.

Burglary, entry of dwelling or outhouse, petit larceny, 11 a.m. Tuesday, 100 block of Leeward Avenue.

Paraphernalia, persons prohibited from possessing firearms — misdemeanor, possession with intent/delivery of a controlled substance, 7:26 p.m. Tuesday, 600 block of 5th Avenue.

Destruction of property — misdemeanor, burglary, entry of dwelling or outhouse, 5:54 p.m. Tuesday, 2600 block of North Terrace.

Intoxication or drinking in public places, illegal possession of alcoholic liquor, disorderly conduct, 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, 700 block of 6th Avenue.

Domestic battery, 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, 2200 block of Guthrie Court.

Grand larceny, breaking and entering auto, 10 p.m. Monday, 2900 block of 4th Avenue.

Discharging firearms within city limits, 12:50 a.m. Tuesday, 600 block of 1st Street.

The following information was provided by booking records kept at Western Regional Jail:

Brittany Danielle Davis, 25, was jailed at 1:55 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Putnam County charged her with malicious wounding. Bond was not set.

Jeffrey Todd Sammons, 36, was jailed at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with destruction of property and burglary. Bond was not set.

Christopher Daniel Sowards, 31, was jailed at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with possession with intent to deliver and persons prohibited from carrying firearms. Bond was not set.

Zachary Matthew Porter Griggs, 29, was jailed at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with home confinement violation. Bond was not set.
