Boswell magistrate reports: May 23
The following preliminary hearings are scheduled before District Judge Susan Mankamyer in Boswell:
Jeffrey Ditzler, 39, West Main Street, Stoystown, was charged Thursday with third-degree felony firearms not to be carried without a license. According to a probable-cause affidavit, on Thursday state police found a concealed pistol on Ditzler in Quemahoning Township. Ditzler did not have a valid concealed carry permit, according to the affidavit. He was arraigned Thursday before Mankamyer and is free on a $20,000 unsecured bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Driving under the influence
Tracy Miller, 30, Boswell Heights Drive, Boswell, was charged Wednesday with three counts of driving under the influence and a summary offense. According to a probable-cause affidavit, on April 29 Miller drove to Mankamyer’s office in Boswell. A blood test showed Miller had amphetamine and methamphetamine in her system at the time, according to the affidavit. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. July 3.
