Cleveland’s street parking ban ends at 7 a.m. today

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A parking ban that has been in effect for the past few days because of the weekend’s winter storm will come to an end at 7 a.m. today, city officials say.

The city issued a news release Monday night saying crews have plowed all 8,000 of the Cleveland’s residential side streets.

Although parking ban will end, the city is asking residents to keep vehicles off the streets if possible in case additional plowing is needed.

According to the National Weather Service, parts of Cleveland had more than 13 inches of snow from the weekend’s storm.

There is no snow in the forecast for the next few days but it will be extremely cold this morning, with temperatures in the single digits. It will warm as the day progresses, though, with temperatures eventually reaching the 30s by the evening.

By Wednesday temperatures will be in the low 40s with rain likely. Snow could return Wednesday night as another cold front moves into the region.
