Police blotter: Petit larceny and trespassing among HPD incidents reported

HUNTINGTON - The following information was provided by police reports from the Huntington Police Department:

The Huntington Police Department listed 18 new incident reports in the 24-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Thursday, according to the printout released by the department. However, the individual police reports were not made available, so these are the only known details:

Destruction of property - misdemeanor; attempt to commit misdemeanor, 4:08 a.m. Thursday, 1900 block of Adams Avenue.

Petit larceny, 1:30 a.m. Thursday, 800 block of Virginia Avenue.

Intoxicating substances; prohibited acts, 2 a.m. Thursday, 9th Street and 3rd Avenue.

Possession of contraband, 12:12 a.m. Thursday, West 10th Street and Madison Avenue.

Trespassing; possession of contraband, 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, 700 block of West 16th Street.

Petit larceny, 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, 800 block of 8th Street.

Trespassing, 9 p.m. Wednesday, 700 block of 6th Avenue.

False pretenses with value of $1,000 or more, 5:11 p.m. Wednesday, 1600 block of Doulton Avenue.

Harassment, 2 p.m. Wednesday, unit block of Highland Court.

Intoxicating substances; prohibited acts, 2:29 p.m. Wednesday, 500 block of 4th Avenue.

Obscene, anonymous, harassing an threatening communications, 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, 33100 block of 3rd Avenue.

False pretenses with value of less than $1,000, 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, 800 block of West 9th Street.

Runaway juvenile, 1:21 p.m. July 25, 1000 block of Madison Avenue.

Petit larceny, 8 a.m. July 25, 600 block of Marion Court.

Shoplifting - first and second offense, 3:20 a.m. Wednesday, 700 block of 6th Avenue.

Possession of contraband; possession of marijuana, 12:17 a.m. Wednesday, West 16th Street and Madison Avenue.

Destruction of property - misdemeanor, 9 p.m. Tuesday, 800 block of Virginia Avenue.

Possession of contraband; possession of a controlled substance; warrant service/execution, 12:46 a.m. Wednesday, West 14th Street and West 5th Avenue.
