ELECTION 2020-MICHAEL BENNET-CLIMATE

DENVER _ Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bennet wants to commit $1 trillion for underwriting research and projects to address climate change, set aside about one-third of U.S. lands and ocean territory for conservation and reach net-zero U.S. emissions by midcentury. SCHOOL SHOOTING-COLORADO-GRADUATION _ Seniors at a Colorado high school where a student was killed in a shooting two weeks ago are graduating. PARK SERVICE RESEARCH-PROBE _ U.S. Rep. Joe Neguse is calling for an investigation to be reopened into allegations that the National Park Service tried to remove references to human-caused climate change from a University of Colorado researcher’s report.
