CAMAS, Wash. (AP) _ Former figure-skating champion Tonya Harding was sentenced to three days in jail Thursday for punching her boyfriend and throwing a hubcap at his head.

She pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and malicious mischief, claiming she hit 28-year-old Darren Silver in self-defense. The fight took place at their home on Feb. 22.

Harding was banned from skating for her role in the 1994 attack against Nancy Kerrigan, who was clubbed in the knee during a competition.
