Lambert 100th Birthday
Leonard Lambert, of Bradley, formerly of St. Anne, will be celebrating his 100th birthday. He was born Dec. 12, 1918, in Donovan.
He married Stella (Detoux) Lambert on Jan. 20, 1940, and they remained side by side for 73-plus years. They had four children: Carol (deceased), Sharon, Dale and Denise. They also have 54 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Leonard was a local farmer, village official and business owner during his working career. He lives in his home and still drives, mows his grass, cooks his meals, does laundry and spends his spare time watching “ol cowboy shows.”
An open house for family and friends will be held from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Dec. 9 at St. Peter’s Parish Hall in Clifton. The event will be hosted by his children and their spouses: Melvin and Rose Marcotte, of Ashkum; Sharon and William Kibbons, of Bonfield; Dale and Dr. Betty Lambert, of St. Anne; and Denise and Richard (deceased) Kuffel, of Clifton.
