WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ About 50 children and parents waiting in a theater for the movie ''Bambi'' to begin got a jolt when Arnold Schwarzenegger, dressed in a loincloth and surrounded by bare-breasted women, appeared on the screen.

Parents complained to the management and were told that the R-rated ''Red Heat'' had accidentally been loaded into the projector Thursday instead of the G-rated, 1942 animated Disney classic.

''It was a mistake, and it's been taken care of,'' said Mike Baty, division manager for General Cinema, which operates the Towne East Cinema.

Members of the audience were given refunds and free movie passes.
