LINCOLN, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire Highland Games & Festival is getting its own app this year.

Visitors to the 43rd annual event at the Loon Mountain Resort in Lincoln will be able to navigate the games with a schedule of activities, performers, maps, and real-time updates and alerts. The mobile app, Event Truly, can be downloaded for free.

The celebration of all things Scottish is scheduled from Friday, Sept. 21, through Sunday, Sept. 23. The 2018 games is expected to draw 35,000 attendees.

Athletes from the United States, Canada, Iceland, Scotland, and other European countries will take part in heavy athletic competitions.

Visitors can try free 45-minute classes. New ones include learning to be a drum major, harp playing, spey casting, snare drumming, and Mas-wrestling (fighting over a stick).
