Lake Mills student Rotarians announced for January

LAKE MILLS -- Seth Hackbarth of Lakeside Lutheran High School and Zoe Quinn and Noah Mock of Lake Mills High School have been named Lake Mills student Rotarians for January.

Hackbarth is the son of Todd and Donna Hackbarth. His hobbies include playing sports, listening to music, singing and playing card games.

Hackbarth has participated in many different activities such as the math team, Teens for Christ, A Cappella and Swing Choir. He has played soccer, football and track. He has volunteered at his church and is planning on going on an Operation Go mission trip to Anchorage, Alaska, to help at a soccer camp.

After high school, Hackbarth will pursue a pre-seminary degree at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota.

Mock is the son of Bryan and Kristen Mock. He enjoys playing soccer and hockey, fishing, swimming, water skiing, spending time with his friends and playing video games.

Mock has been on the varsity high school soccer team throughout his time at Lake Mills High School and has been captain since his junior year. He also plays the cello in the Lake Mills High School orchestra. Mock has been involved with the Solo Ensemble Festival, the Wisconsin Honors Orchestra festival, the Math team and his church.

Mock is looking at a few colleges and would like to pursue something in STEM.

Quinn is the daughter of Jason and Tiffany Quinn. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, painting, reading, traveling and doing photography. Quinn also plays the viola, clarinet, ukulele and tenor saxophone.

She is a member of groups such as Drama Club, Octagon Club, French Club, the Capitol Conference Academic Team, Tri-M Music Honor Society, band, marching band, jazz band, Link Crew, Battle of the Books, orchestra, Chamber Strings, and Solo and Ensemble Festival.

Quinn wants to graduate from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities or the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree anthropology and the fine arts. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree, she wants to get a master’s degree in one or both of those subjects.
