Girls Soccer Roundup: Francis Leads Dallas Rally

At Coughlin, Ali Francis had her hand in every score for Dallas, as she tallied four goals and one assist in Dallas’ 5-3 win Tuesday against Coughlin in WVC girls soccer.

Trailing 3-1 in the first half, Francis keyed the Mountaineers’ comeback by scoring three straight unassisted goals. Olivia Delevan also scored for Dallas.

Coughlin’s Esa Mendola scored twice.

Pittston Area goalkeepers Caroline Wesp and Alysha Smigiel made 13 combined saves. Berwick’s Jadyn Michael made six stops in goal.
