Attempt to acquire pills leads to arrest in Greenwich
GREENWICH — Police responded to the CVS store in the west end of town on a report of an attempt to acquire prescription pills by false means late last week, according to the arrest report.
Ana Garcia, 67, of Terrace Ave., Port Chester, N.Y., was alleged to have used a fraudulent prescription to obtain drugs. In addition, according to the arrest report, Garcia “was also found to be in possession on unlabeled pill bottles with multiple different pills within.” She was charged with two counts of that misdemeanor violation. The arrest was made Thursday morning.
State law requires that prescription pills are to be kept in proper containers.
Garcia was released on $200 bail.
