FRANK WILKES LESNEFSKY / STAFF PHOTO Two all-white bicycles memorializing a cyclist killed on the 700 block of South Main Avenue have gone missing in the past week. Last Sunday, the family of Michael Harmer realized the “ghost bike” that had memorialized the 26-year-old father of two for nearly three years was missing. Harmer was killed by a drunken driver on Aug. 28, 2016, while riding on South Main Avenue. On Thursday, a new ghost bike appeared, only to go missing sometime late Sunday into early Monday morning, said Ashley Gagner, the mother of Harmer’s 3-year-old son, Julius. On Monday, a third ghost bike appeared to commemorate Harmer. “Same as with the first person that had put one out — we will be forever grateful for those anonymous donors who are so nice and generous to go out of their way to memorialize Michael in a way that is just unforgettable,” Gagner said. Anyone with information is asked to call Scranton police at 570-348-4134.
