North American Brass Company will present concert
La PORTE — On April 7 at 3 p.m. The North American Brass Company (NABC) will be presenting a concert at The Presbyterian Church, 307 Kingsbury Ave., La Porte.
This is a classically trained brass quintet comprised of five musicians who perform regularly throughout the Michiana area.
Chuck Steck, a local well-known, respected trumpeter and director from La Porte, is a member of this outstanding quintet.
They commit much of their time educating and inspiring the next generation of musicians though concert series programs and recitals in schools and colleges.
They are in demand for benefits and service events, and perform varied and entertaining programs for enthusiastic audiences in many venues including Andrews University, Culver Academies, Goshen College, Southwestern Michigan College, Valparaiso University and the La Porte Symphony Orchestra.
Members of the quintet are: Jay Crouch, trumpet, Niles, Michigan; Bill Browne, horn, Culver, Indiana; Gary Cooper, trombone, St. Joseph, Michigan; Chuck Steck, trumpet, La Porte and Roger Lewis, tuba, Sturgis, Michigan.
This concert is included in the La Porte Community Concert Season Ticket.
