BOLTON -- Erica Spallone recorded a hat trick to lead the Nashoba Regional field hockey team to a 7-2 win at home over Westboro on Friday.

Also scoring for Nashoba (2-0) were Natalie Brown (goal, 2 assists), Lauren Hill (goal, assist), Gigi Fay (goal) and Maddie Zacchini (goal). Westboro (0-2) goals were scored by Amanda Parsons and Meghana Paras, assisted by Cali West.

Abigail Koziol (goal, assist), Jessica Morse (goal), Breda Page-Violette (goal) and Leah Sowerbutts (goal) each scored for Lunenburg, which improved to 2-1-1 with the victory. Also playing well in the victory were Maddison Arpano on defense and midfielders Rachel Drasser (assist, Lena Spadafore (assist) and Elizabeth Walsh.

Lunenburg’s Emily Nash tied the Tyngsboro Country Club record for high school competition with a 2-under-par 33 to lead the Blue Knights (2-2-1). Also winning matches for Lunenburg were Alan Hyatt, Travis Chesbrough and Brayden Gendron.

Leominster improved to 4-0 on the year with a come-from-behind victory. Set scores were 18-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-12 and 15-8.

Gabriela Guzman led the Blue Deviles with 18 service points, while Yolimar Mercado added 16 and Faith Akoachere had 13. Julie Aguilar and Emily Her also played well in the victory.

For North Middlesex, Dani Croft had 11 kills and three aces, and Kaite Kleeman finished with five kills and three aces.

St. Bernard’s 3

The Bernardians (1-2) picked up their first win of the season behind a solid display of all-around teamwork on their home court. Set scores were 25-16, 25-23 and 28-26. St. Bernard’s will next travel to face Fitchburg on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. match.

Sophmore Lauren Bechara led the Chieftains (4-0) with 18 serves and no errors. Brie Donahue (15 kills), Emily Bussiere (12 kills) and Ibby Sonia (12 kills) led Nashoba in kills. Set scores were 25-8, 25-12 and 25-6.
