Norfolk Catholic remains in high school football rankings while LHNE falls out
The Omaha World Herald & Lincoln Journal Star have updated their high school football rankings.
Norfolk Catholic remains first in the Lincoln Journal Star and second in the Omaha World Herald in Class ‘C-2’. The 3-1 Knights routed BRLD last Friday on the road 49-14. They have beaten David City Aquinas, St. Paul, and BRLD while falling to Class ‘C-1’ top ranked Pierce. Norfolk Catholic returns to action on Friday night when they host 0-4 Crofton at 7:00. Lutheran High Northeast has dropped out of both polls in Class ‘D-1’ after being ranked third in the Lincoln Journal Star and sixth in the Omaha World Herald. The 2-1 Eagles lost at home to Wakefield last Friday night 70-66. LHNE has beaten Winnebago & Omaha Nation while falling to Wakefield. They are back in action on Friday when they visit Omaha World Herald fifth ranked 2-1 Howells/Dodge at 7:00 on 106 KIX.
