Two Fort Wayne men have been arrested after drug busts at separate city residences early today, city police said.

Antoine Burnett, 38, of the 2500 block of Winch Street, was charged with three felony counts of dealing cocaine or narcotic drug (level 4), one felony count of dealing cocaine or narcotic drug (level 2) and a misdemeanor, Fort Wayne police said in a statement.

Carl Burnett, 40, of the 2100 block of Shadybrook Drive, was charged with one felony count of possession of marijuana (level 6).

Police said members of the department’s Vice and Narcotics Division and Emergency Services Team served search warrants at the addresses shortly before 7 a.m.

Detectives had made previous purchases of fentanyl from Antoine Burnett, police said, which combined with surveillance gave police the needed information to file charges and to obtain a search warrant for the two addresses.

At the Winch Street address, police said they found 10.7 grams of a green leafy substance that field-tested positive for THC, 6.2 grams of fentanyl, a .45-caliber handgun, ammunition and $1,198 in cash.

At the Shadybrook Drive address, police said they found 24 grams of marijuana, a shotgun, a .22-caliber handgun, a .38-caliber handgun, ammunition and numerous scales.

The narcotics division is continuing to investigate, police said.
