Burglary

Kankakee police took a report from a man who said his Smith and Wesson .40 caliber gun was taken along with a magazine containing 15 rounds from his unlocked vehicle overnight in the 600 block of South Moore Street on May 6.

DUI

Bradley police arrested Michael O. Godinez, 19, of Bradley, for driving under the influence of alcohol, obstruction of justice and consumption of alcohol by a minor on May 7. According to a report, at 1:19 a.m., an officer responded to the 600 block of South Center Avenue in reference to a fight. The officer observed a vehicle matching a description of the vehicle leaving the area of the fight. Following a short chase, Godinez was apprehended. Godinez showed signs of alcohol impairment.

Bradley police arrested Stephanie N. Porter, 24, of Bourbonnais, for driving under the influence of alcohol with BAC greater than .08 and driving under the influence of alcohol on May 6. According to a report, at 12:35 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle stopped in the outside lane on North Street just west of Van Buren Avenue. The officer spoke to the driver, Porter. Porter showed signs of alcohol impairment. Porter posted the required bond and was released.

Momence police arrested Juan M. Barragan, 45, of Chicago, driving under the influence of alcohol with BAC greater than .08 and for driving under the influence of alcohol on May 3. According to a prosecutor, at 11:08 p.m., Barragan was stopped for a traffic violation near East Washington Street and North Locust Street. Barragan showed signs of alcohol impairment. A judge set Barragan’s bond at $50,000.

Bradley police arrested Jacob W. Dumontelle, 29, of Kankakee, for driving under the influence with BAC greater than .08 and driving under the influence of alcohol on April 27. According to a report, at 2:24 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The officer spoke with the driver, Dumontelle. Dumontelle showed signs of alcohol impairment. Dumontelle posted the required bond and was released.
