Cobb County Fleet Management honored for excellence
Cobb County Fleet Management was ranked No. 2 on the list of 100 Best Fleets in North America.
This is out of 38,000 fleets across the continent.
The program recognizes and honors peak performing fleet operations and encourages high levels of performance improvement within the industry. The fleet operation must have a published list of measures they use to document performance and progress toward objectives. It must also have a review mechanism in place to measure both individual and team productivity for each area.
Cobb’s fleet services director, Al Curtis, was also honored by being inducted into Government Fleet’s Public Fleet Hall of Fame. Honorees are recognized industry leaders and pioneers who have significantly contributed to the public fleet profession. To be eligible, they must have at least 20 years of experience in the industry, 10 of which must be spent working for a public fleet or a private company contracted to manage a public fleet. Curtis has 27 years of experience.
