Girl killed in crash with police car identified
POLSON, Mont. (AP) — Lake County officials have released the name of a 17-year-old girl who died in a weekend collision with a law enforcement vehicle.
Sheriff Don Bell says Adriana Johnson of Charlo died Saturday morning in the collision with Deputy Corey White. White and Johnson’s passenger also were injured.
The Montana Highway Patrol says White was traveling southbound responding to a call when a Jeep Wrangler tried to make a U-turn in front of his vehicle.
Bell says White was placed on administrative leave while the patrol investigates the crash and to give him time to recover from his injuries.
