NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Linebacker Keith Adams agreed to terms on a multiyear contract with the Tennessee Titans on Friday.

Terms of the contract were not announced.

Adams, the 232nd overall pick in the 2001 draft, left Clemson after his junior season. He had had 379 tackles, 23 sacks and forced six fumbles in three seasons at Clemson.

Last season, Adams was among three finalists for the Butkus Award, given each year to the nation's best collegiate linebacker. He holds 11 Clemson records, including 186 tackles and 16 sacks in the 1999 season.
