Beaver Dam Police Beat: May 9-12, 2019

Family issue — At 11:15 a.m. Thursday, police assisted county deputies with a family call in the town of Beaver Dam.

Theft — At 12:40 p.m. Thursday, someone came to the police station to report a stolen temporary plate.

Animal complaint — At 9:20 a.m. Friday, someone reported two loose pit bulls attacked her dog with no injuries on Oneida Street.

Disorderly conduct — At 11:12 a.m. Friday, police responded to a minor fight between two men in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive. One was cited for disorderly conduct.

Disorderly conduct — At 11:56 a.m. Friday, police responded to a report of an unwanted person in the 900 block of South Spring Street. The person was counseled and moved along.

Animal complaint — At 1:31 p.m. Friday, police warned a person to not feed seagulls anymore in the 600 block of Gould Street.

Vandalism — At 2:34 p.m. Friday, police assisted county deputies with the egging of a house on Patricia Lane.

Battery — At 5:16 p.m. Friday, police responded to two women fighting at Goodwill, 130 Frances Lane. One was taken to jail for disorderly conduct and battery.

Unwanted person — At 1:29 a.m. Saturday, police counseled subjects on noise issues in the 800 block of North Center Street.

Noise complaint — At 2:23 a.m. Saturday, police responded to an anonymous call of yelling inside and outside in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive. A man was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken to the hospital for medical clearance.

Domestic incident — At 3:51 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a domestic incident on Spring Street. The parties were separated.

Threat — At 3:56 p.m. Saturday, police took a report of a verbal threat at Walmart, 120 Frances Lane.

Animal complaint — At 7:01 p.m. Saturday, police receive an anonymous report of somebody possibly poaching ducks from a pond at night near Monroe Street.

Vandalism — At 8:27 p.m. Saturday, staff at one of the McDonald’s reported seeing children break a stop sign.

Battery — At 9:37 p.m. Saturday, a man reported another man hit him in the face with a loaf of bread at Walmart, 120 Frances Lane. Police were to issue a citation of disorderly conduct.

Drugs — At 1:56 a.m. Sunday, police cited three juveniles for possession marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Waterworks Park.

Domestic incident — At 11:08 a.m. Sunday, a woman requested assistance with a man who was yelling at her in the 800 block of South University Avenue. When officers arrived, he was gone. Police found him at his mother’s residence. The issue was a verbal argument.

Noise complaint — At 2:46 a.m. Monday, police responded to an anonymous report of a truck running for 30 minutes at Swan City Park, keeping the caller awake. Police made contact with a couple who was living out of the vehicle. They left the area.
