Stamford police: Man hid 4 grams of cocaine in butt

November 13, 2018

STAMFORD — Police say a doctor needed to remove a bag containing more than 4 grams of cocaine from a man’s buttocks.

Capt. Richard Conklin said officers in the Narcotics and Organized Crime unit heard Brandon Jones, 32, of Pine Hill Avenue, was selling crack cocaine at the corner of Daskam Place and Clovelly Road last week.

Conklin said officers detained Jones and found him in possession of nine grams of marijuana.

Officers brought Jones to the police station and obtained authorization for a strip search since they believed he was hiding cocaine, Conklin said.

During the strip search, Conklin said officers saw a plastic bag in Jones’ buttocks. Conklin said Jones was taken to Stamford Hospital where a doctor removed the bag, which he said contained 4.2 grams of cocaine.

Jones was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance and interfering with police. He was held in lieu of a $200,000 court appearance bond.
