Patriots running back Dion Lewis returns to face Dolphins
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — New England running back Dion Lewis was active Thursday night against Miami after missing a game because of an abdominal injury.
Lewis was questionable on the injury report after being limited in practice this week. He has 201 yards rushing and two touchdowns and 256 yards receiving and one scores.
The Dolphins are facing Tom Brady without starting cornerback Brice McCain. He’s inactive for the second straight game because of a sprained right knee.
Miami linebacker Chris McCain won’t get a chance to make his Twitter avatar come true because he is inactive for the third straight game. McCain posted a photo this week showing him crushing Brady’s head accompanied by the hashtag crushbrady.
