Police roundup: Man flees after found illegally entering vehicle, no arrest has been made
BARBOURSVILLE - The following information was provided by reports from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office:
VEHICLE BREAK-IN: A man reported finding an unknown person lying in his wife’s car late Sunday after it was parked unoccupied outside their apartment complex in Barboursville, according to reports from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office.
The unknown man was discovered laying in the passenger seat on the Ford Focus around 10:40 p.m. Sunday at Farmdale Apartments, off Farmdale Road. After being discovered, the man fled the area and has not been located.
The victim discovered the car’s stereo had been stabbed with a knife and the rear view mirror had been ripped off, causing about $1,100 in total damages.
The suspect is described as a white male, around 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 160 pounds wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. No arrests have been made.

The Huntington Police Department listed six new incident reports in the 24-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Monday, according to a printout released by the department. However, the individual police reports were not made available, so these are the only known details:
Runaway juvenile, noon Sunday, 300 block of Park Circle.
Burglary, 5:25 p.m. Friday, 2100 block of 7th Avenue.
Wanton endangerment involving a firearm, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Roby Road/U.S. 60.
Destruction of property, 9 p.m. Saturday, 800 block of Virginia Avenue.
Battery, fugitive from justice, 7 a.m. Sunday, 1800 block of Napier Street.
Breaking and entering, 11:42 p.m. Saturday, 3000 block of Piedmont Road.
