Gonzaga’s Rui Hachimura has made another player of the year midseason watch list.

Hachimura is one of 30 candidates for the Lute Olson Award.

The 6-foot-8 junior from Japan leads Gonzaga in scoring (21.4) while hitting 59.5 percent from the field. He has scored in double figures in all 16 games. He averages 6.4 rebounds.

BYU’s Yoeli Childs is the only other WCC player to make the list. Hachimura and teammate Brandon Clarke also made the Oscar Robertson Trophy midseason watch list.
