Jubilee begins Liberty this weekend

The Liberty Jubilee will take over downtown this weekend.

The event is features fun activities for families in the community.

On Friday, the grounds will open at noon with admission free to the public.

There will be arts and crafts, food booths, a photo contest, a kid’s area, carnival, and a BBQ cook off along with a book and bake sale.

There will also be a concert from 8 p.m. until midnight on Friday between the courthouse and city hall.

The concert will feature Stoney Laure and special guest Mason Lively.

The festival grounds will be in downtown Liberty and the Humphreys Cultural Center Area.

On Saturday, the grounds will open at 9 a.m. Offsite parking and a free shuttle will be provided to the festival grounds.

The same activities will be held on Saturday along with public awareness and music with entertainment.

Carnival arm bands will be $20 on Friday and Saturday.
