St. B’s Downs Bulldogs for 1st Win
The St. Bernard’s girls’ lacrosse team secured its first win of the season on Wednesday afternoon, storming past Monty Tech/Sizer for a 10-4 victory in Fitchburg.
Tory Hanlon potted 5 goals for the Bernardians (1-8), while Cali Laakso had 3 markers.
Kara Boissoneau, Brooke Senatore and Katie Boissoneau also scored for St. B’s and netminder Akshara Challa had 16 saves.
Claire Petersen led the way for Monty Tech (5-6), scoring twice.

Anthony DiNardo allowed a single hit and struck out 11 for the Bernardians (5-5). Max Bigelow had 3 hits, scored twice and drove in a run, while Jon Pinard (double, 3 runs) drove in a pair. Wyatt Bingham had a hit and 3 RBI in the victory.

Freshman Kristinna Sigurdsson went the distance in a five-inning contest, scattering 4 hits and striking out 4.
Cassie Skinner went 2-for-2 with a triple and 3 RBI to lead the Bulldogs (6-3) and Taylor Jollimore drove in a pair.
Bailey McNamara (2-for-3), Amber Colcord (3 runs) and Hannah Seymour (2 runs) each had an RBI, while Kate Roseberry (2 runs) and Izzy Stakley (run) each recorded 2 hits.

Hannah Justice had 3 hits, including a triple, and drove in 4 for the Panthers (5-4).
Tam Landry was 1-for-3 with 3 RBI for Leominster (5-5), while Grace Adams had 2 hits and scored twice and Bella Gasbarro drove in a run.

Mick Ginnity scored 5 goals and dished out a pair of assists for St. Bernard’s (9-0), while Dom Valera (2 assists) and Mike Provencher (assist) each had 4 markers. Michael Hougham added 3 goals and an assist in the victory.
Jake Rickan and Tom McNamara scored for Monty Tech (3-7).
Brendan Pelkey (3 assists), Seth Daneault (assist), Quin Shattuck and Jake Langlois each scored twice to lead the Spartans (3-8).
Kobe Lovangsabouth and Colin Dudak scored for Fitchburg (0-9).
North Middlesex 7
Eliza Howlett scored 7 goals and Alexis Hahn turned away 16 shots to lead the Blue Devils to victory.
Emily Ayles added 3 goals and Leilano Amarasinghe had 2 goals and an assistin the victory.
Lauren Blomgren potted 3 goals for Lunenburg.
North Middlesex 5
Caleb Amidon, Jacob Richard and Evan Gaibor all claimed singles wins for the Patriots (4-1). Josh Gruber and Jake Marr won in first doubles and Matt Burns and Thomas Kelly were victorious in second doubles.

The Chieftains (2-6) swept the singles matches, with Matt Colbert, Dan Baykov and Luke Bagdonas winning.
North Middlesex 1
The Red Raiders improved to 7-1 behind singles wins from Olivia Catalini and Gabrielle White, as well as victories from Rohanji Novas and Sophia Armano in first doubles and Lisa Pavan and Ana Diaz in second doubles.
Lexi Ferguson took the third singles match for North Middlesex (1-7).

Emma Hakala, Kaylin Castles and Bella MacNeil cruised to singles wins, while the second doubles team of Jessie Konstantinidis and Alexa Konstantinidis didn’t surrender a single game in its win.
Leah Farinella and Eugenia Kovtun were also winners for Nashoba (2-4).
The Blue Devils were led by double winners Liam Curtin (shot put, discus) and Joachim Ennoo (long jump, 400 meter hurdles). Other first-place finishers for the Blue Devils were Caeden Constant (javelin), Jaydon Kanuthia (2 mile), Francis Nuamah (100 meter hurdles), Jake Soulliere (mile), Ivan Polanco(400) and Jonathan Polanco (800).
David Gardner took first in the mile, 800, triple jump and pole vault, while Robbie Nash had a solid day, winning the javelin and taking second in the 400 and third in the 200.
Joe Rivers won the shot put for Lunenburg (2-2), Anthony Iannacci was first in the long jump and Michael Alleva won the 2 mile.
Amber Green won the long jump and 100 meter hurdles, took second in the 400 meter hurdles and third in the shot put to pace the Blue Knights (5-0). Nicole Lawrense (high jump), Latifah Ouro-Sama (200), Camile Elbthal (shot put), Genevieve Farr (javelin), Lauren Long (2 mile) and Abby Rodriquenz (mile) also claimed wins, as did the 4x100 relay (Devin Tormey, Olivia Farr, Grace Richard, Isabella Brackett) and the 4x400 relay (Madison Sullender, Angelika Helmer, Breda Page-Violette, Paige Gengler).
Wonoula Ashaju won four events for Fitchburg, claiming the long jump, triple jump, 100m and 400m, while Olamide Bamgbose (shot put, 200) and Emerson Scott (100m hurdles, 400m hurdles) were doubles winners for the Red Raiders.
Nayeli Plaza (pole vault), Madelyne Magliore (discus), Lina Kherallah (800m) and the 4x100 relay team (Rachel Romero, Alyvia Smith, Annaka Gendron, Olamide Bamgbose) also claimed victories for Fitchburg (1-4).
Arianna Constant (javelin), Trishannah Scott (high jump), Cali Dupuis (2 mile), Erin Bousquet (mile) and the 4x400 relay (Mairead Durkan, Maile Crawford, Maryanne Aguilar, Maeve O’Malley) won for Leominster.
