First Mid-Illinois: 4Q Earnings Snapshot
MATTOON, Ill. (AP) _ First Mid-Illinois Bancshares Inc. (FMBH) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $9.9 million.
The Mattoon, Illinois-based bank said it had earnings of 62 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 73 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $47.4 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $42.6 million, topping Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $42.1 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $36.6 million, or $2.52 per share. Revenue was reported as $147.2 million.
First Mid-Illinois shares have increased 3.5 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 15 percent in the last 12 months.
