HURRICANE, W.Va. - Harlie Vanatter tossed a three-inning softball perfect game Monday in Hurricane’s 10-0 shutout of South Charleston. Vanatter recorded seven strikeouts. Caitie Mathes slugged a three-run home run and Alivia Meeks hit a solo homer for the Redskins (22-5).

FAIRLAND 7, GALLIA ACADEMY 6: The Dragons (9-4 overall, 6-0 Ohio Valley Conference) scored in the top of the eighth inning to edge the Blue Devils in Centenary, Ohio. Gavin Hunt went 2-for-4 with two RBI for Fairland. Morgan Stanley went 2-for-4 and drove in two for Gallia Academy.
