SAN ANTONIO (AP) _ Roderic Hall had 21 points and 12 rebounds Tuesday night and Antoine Howard scored 5 of his 17 points in the second overtime of Texas-San Antonio’s 77-74 victory over Idaho State.
Hall forced overtime by hitting a 3-pointer to make it 59-59 with six seconds to go in regulation.
Idaho State (2-3) led 66-63 with a minute to go in the first extra period, but UTSA’s Darren Webber hit a 3-pointer to tie the game 66-66. Webber finished with 15 points.
Howard led the Roadrunners in the second overtime and hit a driving layup with 12 seconds left to give UTSA (4-3) a 77-74 lead. Idaho State’s Mack Tarver missed a 3-point attempt with five seconds to go.
David Hickman led Idaho State with 16 points, while Raphael Fondren had 14 and Rob Preston added 11 points and 10 rebounds.
