FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) _ Jeff Cunningham and Jason Kreis scored goals within a three-minute span early in the second half to help Real Salt Lake beat the New England Revolution 3-1 on Friday night.

Salt Lake (4-9-4) snapped a six-match losing streak with the win.

Cunningham scored his eighth goal of the season in the 52nd minute.

Kreis followed in the 55th minute with his sixth goal of the season, converting a corner kick from the left side taken by Andy Williams.

Salt Lake took a 1-0 halftime lead when Chris Klein scored his second goal of the season in the 15th minute. The goal ended a 260-minute scorelees streak.

New England (6-6-6) played without U.S. World Cup member Clint Dempsey, serving a one-game suspension.

Taylor Twellman scored his eighth goal of the season, taking a pass from Andy Dorman in the 57th minute for the Revolution.

New England totaled eight corner kicks, four in each half, while Twellman had a shot bang off the crossbar in the 33rd minute.
