Van Dykes named co-chairs for 2018 United Way of Mason County campaign
Dann and Julie Van Dyke have been named the 2018 Campaign Co-Chairs for the United Way of Mason County fund drive.
The Van Dykes and a campaign cabinet of seven volunteers will announce the 2018 campaign goal at a kickoff event on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the Port of Ludington Maritime Museum.
The campaign cabinet supports the work and mission of Mason County United Way by carrying out fundraising campaign activities within the local business community.
“I am honored and privileged to have the Van Dykes as this year’s campaign co-chairs. We are excited about what this year’s campaign will bring with their level of leadership and enthusiasm,” stated Lynne Russell, United Way executive director.
The Van Dykes have lived in Mason County on Lost Lake in Custer since 2007 with their daughters Emily and Gracie.
“We are extremely humbled and honored to chair this year’s United Way campaign, it is just one small way to give back to those who make up this very special place we call home. We look forward to a success-filled year thanks to the incredible generosity of the people in our community,” Dann and Julie Van Dyke stated.
