Arnold Gallenbeck, 91, Beaver Dam

Arnold “Curly” J. Gallenbeck, 91, Beaver Dam, went home to the loving arms of the Lord on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Hillside Manor.

Arnold was born Nov. 25, 1926, and married Winette on Feb. 2, 1947. They had five children. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He loved camping and spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his great-great-granddaughter Ava.

Arnold is survived by two daughters, Ginger (Terry) McKone and Diane (Ken) Mortensen; brother, Harold (Betty) Gallenbeck; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one great-great-grandson due in August; and further survived by nieces, nephews, and a very special caring friend, Howard Gundlach.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Winette; sons, Arnold Jr., Ronald and Dennis; one grandson; sisters, brothers and other relatives.

Family and friends are invited to gather Saturday, June 23, at Trinity Church – United Methodist, 308 Oneida St., Beaver Dam, from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Cherie Forret officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery.
