SAN FRANCISCO (AP) _ Devon White’s bases-loaded single capped a three-run rally in the seventh inning to give the Arizona Diamondbacks a 5-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night.

Andy Benes (7-1) went six innings for the victory, giving up three runs and eight hits. Gregg Olson pitched the ninth for his 15th save.

Trailing 3-1 in the seventh, the Diamondbacks rallied against Orel Hershiser (8-8) and Rich Rodriguez to take the lead.

Damian Miller doubled with one out and scored on Andy Fox’s single to cut the lead to 3-2. Danny Klassen then singled to chase Hershiser, who allowed seven hits and four runs in 6 1-3 innings.

Rodriguez walked Travis Lee to load the bases, then gave up White’s two-run single to center for a 4-3 Arizona lead.

The Diamondbacks scored a run in the first on David Dellucci’s RBI single, but left the bases loaded when Karim Garcia lined out to shortstop.

The Giants tied it in the bottom half when Rey Sanchez scored on a wild pitch by Benes. They also left the bases loaded when Brent Mayne struck out.

Barry Bonds’ RBI double and Stan Javier’s RBI single put the Giants up 3-1 in the fifth. Tony Batista added an RBI single in the ninth to make it 5-3.
