State police blotter: Nov. 28

Extradition

Daniel Troy Leopold, 28, Arizona, was apprehended by state police in the Sheetz parking long along North Center Avenue in Somerset Township on Oct. 28. There were two extradition warrants against him in Ohio and Florida. He was housed in the Somerset County Jail until he was retrieved by Morgan County, Ohio, authorities, according to state police.

Vehicle disabled after hitting deer

Beth Turk, 61, Somerset, hit a deer with the front of her vehicle on the Flight 93 Memorial Highway on Tuesday, according to state police. She was not injured.

Rifle missing

James Rihn, 38, Fort Drum, New York, reported to state police that his rifle fell out of his truck bed at the intersection of Gardner Road and Glades Pike in Jefferson Township at 3 p.m. Friday, according to state police. He went back to the intersection, but the rifle was gone.
