Annie Glidden Road ramp to close Monday, stay closed for weeks
DeKALB – Starting Monday, the ramp from eastbound Interstate 88 to Annie Glidden Road will be closed for about two weeks, according to a news release from the the Illinois Tollway system.
The work began in the spring, and all the work is expected to be done by the end of the fall, according to the release. Again, electronic signs another other signage will be in place to alert drivers they’ll need to take the Peace Road exit in order to get to Barb City.
Notably, traffic on I-88 in that area is down to one lane in both directions because of ongoing resurfacing.
