ATLANTIC CITY — FBI agents are searching the home of Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam Jr. The FBI’s Newark division confirms agents are searching Gilliam’s house Monday. It wasn’t immediately known what prompted the search. The Democrat is in his first year as mayor. The former two-term city councilman defeated Republican incumbent Don Guardian in November 2017 in a contentious election marked by allegations of voter fraud by Guardian. By Wayne Parry. TRENTON — A legislative oversight committee hears from state health officials about adenovirus infections at New Jersey health care facilities that have led to more than a dozen deaths. UPCOMING: 350 words by 3 p.m.


— CRASH-EIGHT INJURED — Eight people were hospitalized after a head-on crash near the campus of The College of New Jersey.

— FAKE COCAINE — A New York man has been sentenced to prison for trying to sell seven kilograms of fake cocaine to an undercover agent in Delaware.

— CATHOLIC SCHOOL-ATTORNEY SUED — A trial is scheduled to begin this week in a Catholic order’s lawsuit claiming an attorney violated a confidentiality clause in a clergy sex abuse case.

— EXPLOSIVE FOUND-ARREST — Police have arrested a New Jersey man after finding an inert mortar round behind an apartment building in Pennsylvania.
