Maine 41, Lock Haven 15

ORONO, Maine (AP) _ Andre Pam received two touchdowns and rushed 125 yards to lead the University of Maine to a 41-15 win over Lock Haven Saturday.

Quarterback John Tennett was 11-16 passing for 119 yards and a touchdown. Tennett ran 43 yards with 7:22 remaining in the first quarter for a touchdown and a 7-0 Maine lead. Chris Binder kicked field goals 41 yards and 25 yards early in the second quarter to put the Black Bears ahead 13-0.

The Bald Eagles got on the board with a 37-yard field goal by Charles Traber. Maine answered with a five-play, 83-yard drive, highlighted by a Tennett to James Rice 43-yard bomb. After a 17-yard Tennett run, Pam closed the drive with a four-yard plunge for a 20-3 Maine lead.

Kevin Brown caught an 11-yard pass for Lock Haven to close the third quarter at 27-15. Pam answered for Maine with a 94-yard kickoff return to open the fourth quarter.

Bob Jameson closed the scoring for the Black Bears with a seven-yard run.
