Movie Night on Pelham’s Village Green

PELHAM, N.H. -- Movie Night will be held starting at 4 p.m. Friday on the Village Green. The free event, sponsored by the Pelham Police Department and the Pelham Police Relief Association, features a showing of “Monsters, Inc.,” hot dogs, drinks, cotton candy and a bike raffle.

There will also be free bike helmets available on a first come, first serve basis. The movie showing will begin as soon as it is dark enough outside.

Annual book sale at Chelmsford Library

CHELMSFORD -- Volunteers are needed for the upcoming Friends of the Library annual book sale. The book sale is Sept. 21-23 in the gym at the town offices located at 50 Billerica Road.

Sale times: Friday, Sept. 21, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 22, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 23, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Wilmington ready to hit clean up

WILMINGTON -- Wilmington’s annual Town Clean Up Day is set for Saturday, Sept. 22 at 8:30 a.m. The Wilmington Conservation Commission is looking for volunteers to help clean and beautify the town’s conservation lands.

Volunteers are being asked to start at the DPW building, located at 135 Andover St. for refreshments, trash bags and work gloves.

Howe hosts ‘walk and talk’ in Billerica

BILLERICA -- A historical “walk and talk” with Richard Howe Jr., who seeks re-election to the Middlesex North Register of Deeds this fall, is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sept. 28 at the intersection of Kohlrausch Ave. and Sprague Street in Billerica.

A meet and greet from 5 to 7:30 p.m. will follow the walk.
